Brannon Muska found CrossFit in 2007. He is CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CrossFit Nutrition, CrossFit Kids certified, CrossFit Football and Powerlifting certified. He is also certified through the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). He is trained as a CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist) as well as PES (Performance Enhancing Specialist).
Brannon has competed in the 2009 Hell’s Half Acre SW Regional Qualifier, 2009 CrossFit Games, 2010 Hell’s Half Acre, and the 2011 South Central Open. Brannon graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Kinesiology. He also spent 4 years in the United States Navy where he served as a search and rescue swimmer on board the USS Mustin (DDG-89). After learning about CrossFit, he fell in love with the training philosophy and methodology and was inspired to open CrossFit Texas. Brannon loves to see people change for the better: “They inspire me as much as I inspire them.”
